Alessandro Grillo’s Expertise I am a Senior Scientist at Evotec. My work is focused on the synthesis of new chemical entities for medicinal chemistry purposes and scale up of known chemical entities up to 100 grams scale. In 2012 I earned the degree in medicinal chemistry at University of Siena and I obtained the Ph.D degree in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2016 in the same University. Then I spent more than 1 year as postdoctoral fellow at the Purdue University in West Lafayette (IN), USA in the Department of Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry, under the supervision of Professor Arun K. Ghosh. Then I worked at Promidis (part of IRBM group), where I was involved in several integrated Drug Discover Projects, giving my contribution in the medicinal chemistry department. My research activity has focused so far on the development of bioactive compounds with a special emphasis on CNS disease, antitumor and antiviral agents. Part of my research activities has been reported in 17 Scientific Pubblications and 4 Patents.
