  There are three things that are important to me as I think about “what’s next” after university graduation. Firstly, I am fascinated by the relationship between biology and neuropsychology. As a new university graduate with a BSc. in Psychology, I have had the opportunity to study the relationship between these two disciplines and my goal is to launch my career in a role that allows me to apply this knowledge in a practical way. During my university experience, I recognized that some of my key strengths are research, analysis and the ability to write in both academic and business formats and my ideal role would allow me to incorporate these strengths. Secondly, I love music. I love to write it, play it, collect it and study it. Through my music, I have developed my creative skills which are transferable to the work environment. My ability to listen, research and interpret ideas as well as developing and delivering content in an engaging and creative way are all valuable skills that I can incorporate into how I do my work day to day. Finally, I know how to dig deep and not give up. I have faced challenges and I’m not afraid of hard work and change. When things don’t work out the first time, I just tap into my creative skills, reflect on what I learned and come up with a different approach to accomplish my goals.
