Alexia Boland’s Expertise Alexia Boland is an Australian media and communications specialist and former broadcast journalist, with more than 15 years industry experience. Alexia has a Master’s degree in Communication (Journalism and Professional Writing) and Bachelor in Media and Communications (Journalism and Public Relations) with Deakin University. Alexia is a former television anchor, presenting news, sport and weather across regional Victoria and southern New South Wales for WIN Television. In addition, Alexia has worked as a television reporter, producer and presenter with Southern Cross Austereo, The Nine Network's Today Show, WIN News and Prime 7 Television covering audiences spanning across the east coast of Australia. Alexia has previously led communications for Australia’s independent and not-for-profit Climate Council, hosted and produced several podcast series ('Worthy' and 'Climate Council' Podcasts), while also serving as Director of her media consultancy business Gladiator Media, featuring in a series of TVCs, corporate videos and voiceover projects. Alexia has served on the Board of Directors for Wildlife Victoria, the Communications Committee for the Queen’s Fund and is a RMIT University Industry Mentor.
