Amy Rogers’s Expertise Amy is a human rights and anti-discrimination and equality expert whose toolbox includes research, organisational reviews, policy development, campaigning and advocacy in workplace culture and equality, pay equality, justice system reform and oversight. Amy’s career has focussed on promoting human rights, equality and organisational change – working for Government, NGOs and human rights institutions at state, national and international settings. Her experience across settings and policy areas as a pro bono solicitor and leading law and policy reform projects and organisational reviews, enable her to address complex problems tailored for government, business and other organisations. She has directed major reports on justice and corrections settings for a Royal Commission and state Government. Amy has also moonlighted as a campaigner and worked in international human rights in Mongolia and other international settings. Amy was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2019 allowing her to travel across the, United Kingdon, Sweden, Iceland and New Zealand to conduct research on best practice for organisations to promote gender pay equality and close the gender, ethnicity and disability pay gap. Amy’s offerings include human rights and social impact related research and policy development, corrections and justice reform, organisational audits, reviews and advice to create fairer, safer and more equitable workplaces – including identifying strategies to close their pay gap and comply with new legal requirements. Amy has a Bachelor of Commence from the University of Sydney and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales, and has commenced a Master of Public International law (disrupted by babies and work!). Areas of special interest – the implementation of anti-discrimination and workplace equality laws and best practice; pay equality; justice reform and independent monitoring of corrections and other closed settings; and enhancing organisational culture
