  I am currently a post-doctoral researcher in the lab of Prof. Jenn Prescher. I worked on methodology development for the synthesis of various heterocycles.I had organic chemistry students that met with me regularly for help. Often our sessions were fueled by questions they had about material covered in lecture or about problem sets. I would prepare short quizzes for the chapters they covered in lecture to check their fundamental understanding of the material and as supplementary practice.I worked in the Medicinal Chemistry Dept synthesizing potential antagonists for mineralocortocoid receptors, a steroid hormone. I was expected to set up, work up, and purify about 10 analogs each of varying synthesis lengths for biological assay.
