Eventually transitioning to the United States Air Force, Andrew’s desire to support ground forces has been a common theme throughout his career. From coordinating tactical and logistical air support for 800 Marines to gaining experience in the Lockheed U-2 and AV-8B Harrier, Andrew has attained operational proficiency in unique environments throughout the globe. A natural leader, he achieved positions of increased responsibility as a Director of Operations, Chief of Standardization and Evaluation, Squadron Commander, and ultimately as the Deputy Commander for the 9th Operations Group where he assisted in overseeing 5 squadrons, 4 aircraft fleet programs, and 700 personnel operating throughout five global areas of operations. After retiring from the United States military, Andrew has made a successful transition into civilian aviation gaining experience in FAR Part 121 scheduled passenger airline operations.
