Mr. Upadhayay takes pride in being the promoter of social entrepreneurship and a peaceful and inclusive society in Nepal. He firmly invigorates the youth to play a part in evidence-based human rights advocacy. He has 8 years of profound experience in the Main -Stream Media field and a decade of exposure in the development sector of Nepal. Formerly, Mr. Upadhayay has led the Localization of Sustainable Development Goals 16 (SDG 16) Project, focused on peace, justice, human rights, and capacity upliftment of CSOs in Nepal. Additionally, he has contributed as a secretariat focal person of the Nepal SDGs forum (A common platform of all Nepalese Civil Society Organizations known for implementing the SDGs in Nepal. He is also the founder of the Nepal SDGs 16 Plus forum. He is directly involved in gender equality (SDG5), reduced inequalities (SDG10), partnership for the goals (SDG 17) including women's rights, and marginalized people's rights and justice through the localization of the Sustainable Development Goals in Nepal.
