Though not a product of the Boys & Girls Clubs movement, Antoinette has come to love Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club and what it stands for to the community and what it means to its young members. “I want all children to recognize their potential and grow into well rounded, productive individuals who follow their dreams and reach for the stars. My main goal in life is to affect people in a positive way to better the world they see around them every day,” said Antoinette. Antoinette completed her Bachelors of Arts Degree majoring in Political Science at Delaware State University. In 2011 and 2012, she worked as a counselor with another local non-profit organization, running gang prevention and intervention programs and volunteers at Island Harvest. Prior to joining GCBGC she worked with the Dale House Resource Center helping those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS and volunteers at Ludlum Elementary School in Hempstead, recently renamed the Barack Obama Elementary School. Antoinette is currently pursuing a M.B.A in Business Management and Leadership and is expected to graduate in May of 2015.
