Ashley Ross-Breen’s Expertise A graduate from the University of Aberdeen with MA Honours in 2016 (2:1). I graduated with my PGDE in Primary Education at the University of Aberdeen in 2019. At this time I was also shortlisted for outstanding teaching practise while on school placement. In my time since graduation I have expanded my expertise in teaching especially within early and first level of Scotland’s National Curriculum - Curriculum for Excellence (CfE). I have a real passion for the early level curriculum and how play can be a significant driver in getting it right for every child. Creative, thoughtful and meaningful teaching and teaching environments which are FUN are at the heart of my teaching practise. I firmly believe that a focus on developing the application of skills across the curriculum allows the learner to be at the heart of their journey giving them ownership of their learning to develop their interests and passions.
