  I have been in the Software Industry for the past 15+ years.I started off as Quality Assurance engineer working predominantly on backend system testing.These were mostly SOAP API's,Database testing based on Linux/Unix platforms. My biggest asset is my ability to adapt to various challenges thrown at me.An example of this can be seen through out my career in management where i was thrown a challenge of changing the culture of our UltraDNS testing team within Neustar from a very RFP mindset (build to spec) to a true technology driven innovative division.I was able to successfully do this during the course of my 5 years where i managed the QA team within the UltraDNS product. I have built and grown a team that was used to a waterfall mindset of SDLC delivery.We used various tools such as DevOps,Agile,CI etc to help make this transition.As someone said my secret sauce is that culture changes are different but can only truly happen from ground up. I have managed the internal Automation & Tooling Team which was a shared service team within Neustar responsible for providing automation frameworks, support for the various business delivery groups within Neustar.We work with a lot of AWS platforms and use tools such as Jenkins( CI),Chef (Automated deployment), Selenium ( automated gui tests) and Cucumber ( Behavior driven testing) in our implementations.We also work with the Customer Support groups to build out end to end tools that help in improving the MTTR of our product lines. Currently I manage the registry and ultradns DevOPs teams within Neustar.These are high volume low latency platforms held to very tight SLA’s.They are critical to the internet infrastructure and I call it , they are the plumbing of the internet.Multiple Fortune 500 and ALEXA 1000 customers rely on these platforms.
