Aude Thiriot’s Expertise • Passionate research scientist with over 20 years of experience and training in immunology, vascular biology and oncology. • Specific focus in understanding microvasculature specialization to enable the development of a new generation of anti-inflammatory and anti-tumoral drugs. • Highly skilled in flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, cell culture, molecular biology, generation of monoclonal antibodies, in vitro assays, generation and maintenance of mouse colony, in vivo animal models including tumoral and inflammatory models. As a graduate student at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, my research focused on the characterization of a newly identified B cell population, the Bw cells. As a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School in Boston, my goal is to understand microvasculature specialization. My research led to the generation of the first monoclonal antibody against mouse DARC/ACKR1 protein, an endothelial atlas of mouse venular and non-venular endothelial cells and the identification of a new pathway regulating the phenotype and function of High Endothelial Cells. My expertise allowed me to be involved in many successful academic collaborations as well as being a consultant for a newCo. Over the past 15 years, I enjoyed supervising multiple talented research assistants and students.
