  After graduating from Koç School in 2008, I have continued my graduate education in University of North Carolina Asheville with a student/athlete scholarship. I have transferred to İstanbul Bilgi University in 2009 and graduated with an Economics degree. I played as a professional basketball player for a year after graduation, I started my professional finance career as an Assurance Trainee in PricewaterhouseCoopers. I was also given the Honorary Rahmi Koç Award in High School. iAfter high school I have continued my graduate education in University of North Carolina Asheville with a student/athlete scholarship. In 2009 I transferred to Bilgi University and graduated in 2013 with an economics degree. In 2015 I started as an Assurance Intern in PricewaterhouseCoopers and started working as an Audit Associate. I have been working as a part of the Risk Management Compliance Team, specifically as an Independence Compliance Consultant since October 2016 and have been working as a senior consultant on the same team since September 2017. My job description consists of performing periodic tests and controls to check and improve the compliance of the firm with the local and global Independence Rules and Regulations, to provide ad-hoc consultancy to the PwC staff and management and to provide training to staff to build awareness and know how about the compliance standards. The habit of striving with my team for success that I obtained and developed in my professional basketball career has helped me to develope persistence and execution habits in the long working hours. The balance and dynamics of my internal motivation that I developed through my ties with sports, has always been a great driving force in the road of success.
