Barbara Green’s Expertise I have been self employed throughout my adult life. I was a licensed Hairdresser for 40 years and owned a salon for 17. In 2007, I participated in a basket weaving workshop that produced my first Adirondack Pack Basket. Since then, I have woven at least a two hundred, along with countless others designs. Currently I am an instructor at various Art venues including View, the arts center in Old Forge, The Thousand Islands Art Center in Clayton,NY, Abanakee Studios in Indian Lake, NY, Blue Mountain Center for the Arts and others. Workshops are held at either my store or my home studio. The store front is located at 2946 Rt 28, Old Forge, NY. My store holds not only my baskets, but many regionally produces gift items.
