  Some day I hope to build the next generation Honda Asimo robot, or my own advanced robot :) Before I started at Honda, I attended Lake Superior State University in the upper peninsula of Michigan. There I obtained a B.S. in Computer Engineer with a minor in mathematics and specializations in robotics, machine vision, and computational geometry. During my education I lived in an on campus living learning community with 18 other engineering students (fondly called the "Engineering House"). What made the Engineering House special is that every year the house would pick a new project or continue an old project that benefits the school or community. During my college career the project was a 3D printer. Not only did I live in the engineering house I was the house leader for three years. Because of my time leading it has become clear that to accomplish any difficult engineering project it is imperative to leverage the unique skills of each team member and that the team must function cohesively. Outside of work and volunteering, I spend a majority of my time slacklining learning about and building robots (Forward and inverse kinematics, computer vision, path planning, ... all the fun topics!!!).
