I also served for 10 years as adjunct faculty, while researching innovations in logistics systems and organizational dynamics. I remain a passionate student of world cultures, languages, and philosophical systems, always looking for ways to build bridges between groups through mutual understanding and respect. Recent research has included computational models for improved risk mitigation and opportunity capture plan management, and human dynamics within broader logistics systems. My applied research and ongoing volunteer field work with various community service organizations resulted in the award of two honoris causa doctorates in 2013. I currently serve as the Executive Director / CEO of the non-profit Northeast Montana STAT Air Ambulance Cooperative, based in Glasgow, MT, providing lifesaving medical flights throughout the region.
