I had a bad landing and broke my back at the L1 vertebra. I became a diagnosed Spinal Cord Injury and told it was likely I’d never walk again. I spent about 8 months fighting that wheelchair. After relearning how my body functions and finding the appropriate braces for the things my injury took from me, I started "walking" again. Today I am able to walk around in a fairly normal manner with my braces, enough that the average person cannot tell how seriously injured I really am. The Bottom Line: I am a highly motivated individual with experience leading communications professionals in hazardous and unfriendly environments. I may not have the Day 1 requirements that you need, but I can tell you that no other person will strive to learn what knowledge needs to be known.
