Brian Roemer’s Expertise My passion is courseware development. I love the idea of taking a problem and understanding it, designing and developing a solution, and then implementing the deliverable that solves that problem for my customer. Through my e-learning roles over the years, I've been using, developing, managing, maintaining, and evaluating online courseware for BizLibrary, its clients, and its vendors. As a result of those experiences, I've served nearly every aspect of the content development process. I've successfully moved courses through the needs analysis, design & build, marketing & engagement, and evaluation stages of a project plan. Authoring Tools My deepest skills and experience exist with Lectora. I've been using Trivantis' applications since 2004 and hold both levels of Lectora certification (Certified Author and Advanced Certified Author). I feel confident diving into any level project from a simple PowerPoint conversion...up through a dynamic, branching, simulation-based experience. My skills extend to other authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate StoryLine, Presenter, Engage, and Quizmaker. Audio/Video Media Tools I have a firm understanding of audio, video, and image technologies and have experience ensuring solutions are web-friendly and compatible with client needs. Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Soundbooth...etc), AVS Media Tools, Expressions Encoder, SnagIt, Camtasia, FlyPaper are just some of the tools I've used in past projects. LMS Experience As a technical and development resource for BizLibrary, as well as through competitive research and various courseware development projects, I'm familiar with many LMS systems. The AICC and SCORM standards don't always guarantee success, and I'm proud of the fact that I've successfully imported my courseware into nearly every mainstream LMS on the market.
