Bridget-Elizabeth Harris’s Expertise Bridget-Elizabeth Harris, admitted to practice law in Texas and Alabama, lives by the mantra “everything in life is negotiable.” She uses this strategy and a solution-oriented perspective to provide her product liability, commercial litigation, and premises liability clients the best representation possible. Bridget’s passion for the courtroom—her adult playground as she likes to call it—began at a young age. As a result, she is not afraid to step into a courtroom and argue a case. As captain of her high school mock trial team, she won a national championship at the age of 16. She continued this pursuit in college and went on to serve as captain of the award-winning Trial Advocacy Competition Team at The University of Alabama School of Law, which she led to the semi-finals during the 2017 National Trial Competition sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers. With her trial skills and positive attitude, Bridget has already spent 24 days in trial and has secured five clients of her own. Prior to law school, Bridget served the Alabama educational community as a Teach For America Corps Member, mentoring and sharing career preparedness tips with students at Lee High School in Montgomery, Alabama. Most recently, she served as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Alabama School of Law, where she enjoyed teaching Civil Pre-Trial Advocacy. She was also selected as one of the finest law firm writers of 2020 by the Burton Awards, a national program run in association with the Library of Congress and presented by Law360 for an article that she co-authored “Diversity’s Next Step: Developing Minority Partners.” Away from the office, Bridget enjoys spending time with family, watching basketball, and playing the violin. She has a passion for seeing the world and has set a goal of traveling to a new country each year.
