Ear Gator for Impacted Ear Wax (September 2017 - December 2017): The client, Dr. Micheal Hartman, works in Emergency Medicine in Green Bay, WI. He proposed a device designed to efficiently remove deeply impacted ear wax in an emergency setting as a technical upgrade from currently used tools. The team designed a prototype that used purely mechanical methods for ideal insertion in the ear canal and removal of impactions.Helped manage the small animal hospital at UW Veterinary School.Assisted the Cai Research group in the UW Molecular Imaging and Nanotechnology Lab at the Institute for Medical Research. Synthesized and characterized nanoparticles and assisted in phototherapy of breast-cancer tumor bearing mice. Showcased results to University wide research event.Summer position at busy Boulder area restaurant. Managed reservations and overall flow of the restaurant. Medtronic
