Carlo Brini’s Expertise I'm an experienced customer relations, social media and sales professional with a B.A.(Hons) and postgraduate award in business administration. My skills and experience have been gained from working in a multinational context for companies such as Delta Air Lines, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Air France. In July 2012, whilst working at Air France as a customer relations officer, I joined a project aimed at establishing the company on different social media platforms. My role over the years has enabled me to facilitate the development and growth of branded social media channels on emerging and existing platforms, working closely with the wider corporate, marketing and digital teams. Our policy is based on one-stop-shop servicing of premium clients through social media. This project steadily evolved into a collaborative enterprise and multi-hub operation, offering 24/7 service globally in different languages across the entire social landscape. When our social media undertaking was established, in 2014, my team was awarded the European Best Social Media in Customer Service by an independent jury in the United Kingdom. Over the last few years we adapted to changes, new systems and challenges; we are still learning and getting better at managing activities. In a most recent development, I was involved in maintaining a platform equipped with AI deep learning that understands conversations and then drives automated resolutions seamlessly to Salesforce back-end system. While activities are gradually being transferred to service providers, I am currently supporting the outsourced centres with community management procedures, at times also liaising with agencies and departments responsible for corporate communications, marketing and digital content. Before joining the Air France - KLM group, I worked for Delta Air Lines and was lucky enough to learn different aspects of international sales and joint-venture activities, along with amazing people from around the world. Before that, my background has been in hospitality as guest relations manager and in hotel administration (Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Meliá Hotels International). While I enjoy different aspects of my job, I think my favorite stage of a new project is working with the team and stakeholders towards shared objectives. As we go through that collective process, the ideas start to flow and that’s always the fun part.
