Certicm Mark Ridley Dipfsm’s Expertise So, you want to know about me, eh? Ok, I’ll oblige. I’m a Brit who’s been living in the US for 9 years now, and became a citizen in 2018. I have 30+ years in Financial Services, across Europe and the US. After spending that time learning what’s great--and not so great--about the larger institutions, I started an FX payments business of my own. In the beginning of a freaking pandemic no less. Because the big banks have a lot going for them, and can provide a lot, truly. But they’re not generally known for their proactive service. Or their adaptability. And your relationship manager with them probably isn’t exactly a specialist--except for their sales ability of course. So when it comes to FX, you get what you get rate-wise (which is what everyone else gets too), you find out what you need to know when they decide you need to know it, and you get that info second or even third hand from someone who--while having the best of intentions--is handling a ton of accounts using a whole portfolio of different services and is ultimately paid to sell. So, we started our own thing. An FX Payments company that can provide live, near-market rates, incredible risk management, and the service you deserve. And now I spend all my time helping companies who do international business make more money. Which is pretty cool, I think.
