Southern California Edison, San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant Position: Armed Nuclear Security Officer (NSO-1)/Upgrade Supervisor August 2007 – February 2015 Job Duties include wide-ranging knowledge in assault tactics and coordinating with outside law enforcement agencies in joint effort to protect the plant from terrorist attack. Observe and report day to day activities in the plant to prevent a breach in security. Consistently and effectively perform hourly security rounds on plant equipment in order to keep the integrity of the plant’s physical security plan. Complete annual PFTs, and quarterly weapons qualifications on AR-15 and Glock-22. Successfully execute deployment of tactical weapons skills during annual tactical weapons course.
