But along the way, I worked at an agency serving persons with disabilities. I was an Community Inclusion Specialist and part of what I did was coach my clients. Everyone had a mountain of challenges holding them back (housing, financial, food, childcare, medical, eldercare, travel, work, in addition to all of the inner blocks). Many of them felt anger, guilt, shame, and fear. As we worked through the issues, fear decreased, anger lessened, confidence grew. I watched my clients change their lives by learning to empower themselves. They learned how to shift their energy and use it more effectively. Because of this new knowledge , they stood taller, smiled broader and felt happier. All they needed was someone to help to sort it all out. This job, more than any other, sparked the flame for my coaching. We all have 100% energy at our disposal. It is how we use this energy that is our choice.
