Chelsea Rossow’s Expertise Today, public health has become a household term. However, many are still unaware of what public health truly means. I know it means more than just improving the health of populations and my goal is to spread this message with others through my career upon the completion of my Master's in Public Health. With an emphasis in epidemiology, I aim to use the skills I have gained through my education and personal experience in healthcare, to analyze and identify health trends and risks in order to improve and inform public health interventions. Along with data collection and analysis, I am also skilled in written and verbal communication, and have demonstrated these skills in qualitative and quantitative analysis projects. (Examples can be found in my LinkedIn posts) My experience working in healthcare drives me to improve access to healthcare resources, has taught me the value of team work and time management, and the importance of taking time to maintain my own health in order to reach my full potential as an employee and team member.
