He has a vast array of skills, qualifications and experience that has created an amazing career path that is wide and includes leading school and youth leadership and team development expeditions in over 50 countries. Canoeing and kayaking many of the worlds wildest and remotest rivers with first descents in the UK, Alps and Himalayas. Creating award winning responsible and ethical interpretive adventure tours in New Zealand, Nepal and Mongolia. Summiting Kilimanjaro 12 times in 24 days and acting as Technical Advisor for some of the UK’s leading school adventure operators. Since his arrival in Mongolia, Chris has developed the Mongolia Institute of Outdoor Learning. MIOL is dedicated to creating high quality safe opportunities for Outdoor Education and Environmental Discovery for the youth of Mongolia. Through MIOL he is based at ISU as the Experiential Education Consultant and is presently responsible for the development of the Round Square philosophy at ISU. Round Square is a worldwide network of schools that excel in the delivery of adventure and service education as part of the Round Square six pillars. Chris is passionate about the spirit of adventure and the sharing of experiences with others.
