Aged care residences should not be places people are fearful of ending up but instead integral vital parts of our community which facilitate a life of meaningful engagement, purpose and fun for the person their families and professional care givers. I would like to see every new residential home be attached to a kindergarden to restore the role of our elders as carers and teachers for our next generations.
