Chris Lomas’s Expertise Hello!!! Well what can I say I am very passionate about the outdoors and sharing that passion with others. I started off working at an indoor climbing gym at a young age and was immediately hooked for life. Since then I have traveled up and down the east coast on various outdoor and wilderness adventures. After having the awesome opportunity to attend an Outward Bound course I knew that outdoor/experiential education was the path for me. After many years bouncing from one recreation/leisure opportunity to another I settle down to attend Appalachian State University to complete my undergraduate degree in Recreation Management with a concentration in Experiential Education. During that time and since then I have attended multiple outdoor trainings and have obtained multiple certifications in order to become proficient outdoor instructor. My goal is to obtain a position with an outdoor recreation leisure provider that strives to put safety above all else and now having done that I couldn't be happier.
