Over the past 20 years, Chris has diversified OT Services Group in line with healthcare funding changes to establish a strong foundation. His dynamic approach has enabled this service over the years to become a key stakeholder in community based and specialty occupational therapy services in WA. Within his specialty area of practice, driving, Chris has been a leader in developing this service area, both locally and nationally. OT Services Group has been pivotal in pioneering the area of in-vehicle driver rehabilitation for occupational therapists across Australia. Through strategic foresight, drive, passion for occupational therapy and service development, he has used his extensive experience working across areas of health and disability to develop a consumer focused service with five key areas of focus. As a leader and self-sufficient innovator, Chris is comfortable in any role from the boardroom to lead barista for walk-ins at the Solutions Centre. He regularly presents at state and national conferences, and has been recognised with different awards at a state level. Chris is passionate about mentoring the next generation of occupational therapists through volunteering time to provide mentoring and professional development opportunities for other occupational therapists, as well as coordinating an in-house student placement program in conjunction with local universities. Chris also has a longstanding relationship with OT Australia and which has provided opportunities to have input into a range of policy and environmental factors shaping practice. Chris has proven his leadership skills through establishing, developing and supporting a high performing team.
