  I’ve been working as an IT Consultant/Architect for over 27 years now, architecting, developing and delivering solutions across a range of industries including Finance, Telecommunications, Government, Media, NPO organisations. Probably the most notable example of which was designing then implementing the base AWS environments and services for usage by projects within Tesco Bank, as well as architecting and implemented some of their initial projects including the environments required to support the Tesco Drive application.  My knowledge of data centre migrations, infrastructure, applications and integration has been put to good use performing “6R” assessments of applications with a view to moving to public (as well as private) clouds as part of various companies application transformation/currency or data centre exit projects. My background in design & implementation has also been put to good use in the review and governance of design proposals. I returned to FIS in 2019 to work on the design and implementation of their Modern Banking Platform in Public Cloud as a SaaS offering, leading a team of Architects, Engineers and SRE’s on the delivery of the solution using a multi region deployment approach in Azure, GCP and AWS regions around the world.
