Christopher Rowland’s Expertise Chris Rowland, Editor received an M.F.A. in 2000 at Otis College of Art and Design. Upon graduation, Chris began teaching at Otis College of Art and Design, concurrently editing a documentary film he co-directed “The Voyage of Biosphere 2.” In 2002, Chris traveled to Kenya, Africa as Director of Photography on “Modifying Africa with Modern Technology.” In 2007, Chris completed a biographical documentary, “Sign Posts of Dr. Roy Walford” which he wrote and directed, which is now available on Netflix and Amazon.com online. He also edited a documentary titled “Over the River,” on abolitionist Lydia Maria Child, which premiered at Sony Studio November 2007. In 2010, he was Assistant Editor at HBO on the original series, “The Neistat Brothers,” and he finished a biographical documentary “Red Hope,” receiving a Best Documentary Nomination in 2011. Chris also works on music videos for “The Farmers” and “Whispertown 2000,” and he is featured in an interview in Rolling Stone magazine. Additional projects included producing promotions for Kenneth Cole, 2Bamboo and La Blanca. Since 2012, he has worked with the USC School of Architecture on various architectural films. Currently, he is working as independent contractor for Matrix Visual Solutions under his own company name Crimmit Projects.
