While an individual can have a desire to succeed in a particular job, one cannot achieve success without specific qualities required to perform the job function. Psychology is not just a field that anyone is capable of doing. An individual interested in Psychology must have a diagnostic, analytical mindset in order to perform the job successfully. The fewer the bias the more likely also that the individual can perform assessments and succeed in helping individuals in need of mental health professional assistance. I plan on specializing in areas such as paraphilia disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and anxiety disorders - more specifically I am interested most in paraphilia and psychotic disorders.
