I have worked closely with liquidators and receivers in my past and also worked in an accounts department of an insurance broker. Formally Managing Director of Aon Premium Finance (UK) and latterly Senior National Manager at Premium Credit Ltd, with responsibility for the business development and relationship of the Aon Account. I started working in premium finance in 1997 assisting in the setting up of Cananwill UK. My first active role was as Operations Manager responsible for overseeing the functionality of the office in Reading, Berks. My responsibilities would include managing a team of 9 staff with office and sales skill sets, office budgeting, cash flow controls and credit control. In 2009, the business was transferred to Macquarie International Bank. I was given the role of National Manager overseeing the administration team managing the relationship between Aon and Macquarie. Macquarie decided to close the office in 2012 and the Aon account moved to PCL in the November of that year. PCL approached me to continue the role and maintain the relationship with Aon. Previous roles included being an Accounts Manager at Aon responsible for the collection and payment of premiums from clients through Aon to insurers.
