My first year there, I was awarded the honor of associate of the year. Following that I became the shoe department lead in August of 2017. This was the first step I needed to become a merchandising manager. I have held the positions of Home Merchandising Manager, Men;s and Accessories Merchandising Manager and Ladies Merchandising manager. I was the Ladies Manager when the company declared bankruptcy and when the doors closed in October, 2020. I have excellent leadership skills and a keen eye for merchandising. I have handled being manager on duty and assuring that all aspects of the store ran smoothly when both the General Manager and Assistant Manager were off. I performed tasks such as audit, scheduling ,sales, cashiering, work distribution, floor moves, truck deliveries, order fulfillment and merchandising and displays. I led the ladies team on a daily basis, ensuring tasks were fulfilled and duties were performed, both in an effective and timely manner. I have an immense amount of customer service experience. I firmly believe in being a team player and discovering the strengths of my coworkers and utilizing those strengths to the benefit of the company. I value integrity, honesty and a good work ethic.
