Serving as Safety Officer, my goal was to initiate programs and protocols that stopped safety issues before they happened. I collaborated to write and create 3 videos outlining proper safety practices and organized, planned, and executed a review of 13 shipboard safety programs. The result was a 99% safety rating for my command. Now that I’ve gotten my feet wet in the civilian sector, I’m looking for a position that will allow for personal and career growth.
