Through this work, Craig has gained a rather unprecedented view of where Alberta communities are at with respect to broadband, the issues they face, and the opportunities they have to both work together and move forward. Over the past decade, 19 have moved forward toward implementation. Craig recently served as an External Reviewer for the Northern Ontario Residential Broadband program with Canada’s Centre of Excellence in Next Generation Networks (CENGN) He has been nationally recognized through his work on NSERC's Grant Selection Committee for Computers, Communications and Components and their Committee on Research Partnerships (among others), the Advisory Board for Computing Science at the University of Alberta, and the peer review committee for NSERC’s Fellowships Innovation Platforms initiative. A life member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Craig is a professional engineer and holds Masters degrees in both Science and Business Administration from Queen's University in Kingston.
