  In the past few years, I have learned how to run and build a successful program at the Division III level. When I arrived as a player at Keuka College, the program was below average. Under the leadership of Coach Ferchen, the program became successful. When I transitioned into becoming an Assistant Coach, he taught me how to build a successful program at the collegiate level. Building a program takes a lot of dedication, attention to detail, and the ability to lead and motivate student-athletes. As a Graduate Assistant at Keuka College, I have assisted with the recruitment process by successfully scouting and recruiting players all over New York State. I have organized practice plans, including but not limited to the organization of our hitting development at the college.I have created successful gameplans by scouting and organizing competitors data. I have also assisted the head coach in scheduling games, budgeting, inventory, and making sure that our student-athletes are successful not only on the field but also in the classroom. As a college coach, I believe my job is not only to coach baseball but also to prepare our student-athletes for the world after college. Running a college program is what I have wanted to do since I became a collegiate coach. Being a two-way player in college allows me to understand all facets of the game. Building a successful program requires knowing all aspects of a game and being able to relay it to the student-athletes.
