After implementing a computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) system at Mercantile Billiard supporting the production process of pipe spools for nuclear power plants and large petroleum refineries, I joined Computer Vision in 1987, leader in the CAD/CAM world as Sales Support Engineer advising prospects in CIM solutions. In 1990, I joined Ernst & Young and was responsible of different projects in the automotive, public and financial sectors. In 1998 I was admitted as Executive Consultant. As from 2001 I served as ICT Service Team Manager at bpost (Belgian post) where I got the opportunity to define the foundations of a new ICT architecture supporting and improving the mail operations. Since 2005 I joined the department Mail Operations as ICT Coordinator advising top management about ICT Strategy and defining a 5Y ICT Landscape supporting the shift from a silo-oriented company to a process-oriented company. These last years I was more specifically involved in extending the ICT architecture with a mobile device platform supporting the core activities of postmen.
