Duke has a very large network I could see there was to much work that needed to be done to continue to do it the way I had been. So I taught myself python and starting automating the work. Within a year and a half I got 4 promotions and have ended up basically as an individual self taught programmer automating some of our most time intensive projects, and finding new ways to do old manual tasks.
