  My passion for research began 17 years ago when I was an undergraduate student, and has continued to grow over these many years as I have gained knowledge and understanding of the biological underpinnings that govern behavior, disease progression, molecular processes and treatment responses across the fields of molecular oncology and neuroscience. In addition to my scientific work which includes earning authorship on 20 peer-reviewed publications, training others has become a great joy and personal responsibility that I look forward to each day in the lab, as I help the next generation of scientists find their passion for research and contributions to building the necessary scientific foundations that will create the road map to future patient care.
