I have experience with embedded processing (have worked in the past on a Demand-Assigned Multiple-Access (DAMA) satellite project, as well as various multi-media systems, modems, communications systems, etc). Worked on Voice/Fax/Data relay systems. Have excellent skills in DSP assembly, Python, C and have some experience with C++. Have also had experience with Scheme, Lisp, Forth, Pascal and BASIC. Very familiar with MPEG media systems format, ASF, RTP/RTSP, as well as various proprietary media transport mechanisms. Also maintain a wiki/subversion server so have experience with CGI, TWiki, HTML, XML, etc, and various scripting languages such as perl, python and javascript. Have been involved in documentation and process control management, quality control systems, etc., and was working toward using a wiki-based system for process and quality management. Have experience with customer relations, customer support (on-site and by phone) and have extensively traveled as part of my job. Have had some exposure to automotive industry and MISRA. Have also worked with component-based frameworks (including design and implementation of such). Have managed and supervised teams of several people.
