David Acchione’s Expertise I began my career on the V-22 Wiring Design team at Boeing, responsible for producing the interconnecting wire harnesses on the V-22 aircraft. From there, I transitioned to be an Avionics/Mission Systems engineer generating the system requirements and design to integrate on the V-22 platform. My responsibilities included requirements development and integration testing. I was the Mission Systems lead for integrating the next gen Electronic Warfare suite on the MV-22 platform, working closely with our customer NAVAIR and fellow Boeing Electronic Warfare team. From here, I received an opportunity to become the technical lead for the satellite communications (SATCOM) system integration the V-22 Japan program, working with international suppliers throughout the effort. During this effort I lead a multi-discipline team responsible for the design and integration of the SATCOM system. I then transitioned to the H-47 Chinook program, being the lead engineer for Electronic Warfare integration across multiple variants of the H-47 platform, both domestic and international. In addition to the H-47 platform, I am the Mission Systems technical focal for the MH-139 program for USAF which includes Electronic Warfare, IFF, and MIL GPS capabilities.
