A highly qualified, capable, experienced, Senior Commissioning Engineer. Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard. A passionate and dedicated engineer, David is also the former Chairman of the CSA (Commissioning Specialist Association) training committee and the team he lead are responsible for all aspect of training and teaching for CSA UK and all the international Charters of the organisation. David has extensive knowledge of the hands-on commissioning process, installation and troubleshooting of systems. Very keen to expand his knowledge into BMS, Energy Audits and Building Information Modelling (BIM). Having years of experience working on building sites, David brought a practical approach to the academic world allowing, alongside any team to bridge the gap between the design and the site installation and commissioning of the systems to ultimately deliver outstanding projects. He is particularly interested in natural, low-impact, sustainable energy systems. David stepped down as the Chairman of the Training Committee with the Commissioning Specialist Association (CSA) to become the Commissioning Subject Matter Expert role, for the UK DIT consortium (UKDT) assisting the Peruvian government, with the Infrastructure work, delivering the Panamerican Games Lima 2019, where he worked assisting and reporting directly to the Head of Infrastructure of the Lima 2019 senior team. David has a strong ability to visualise the practical aspects of the installation and is able to bridge the gap between the design intent to the site installation.
