SiLi Energy foundation also was funded by Korea Government. * About SILI Energy (homepage: silienergy.kr) We are doing to innovate next-generation Li-ion battery materials with the aim of achieving electric vehicle mileage of more than 1000 km. Specifically, we intend to speed up the application of 100% silicon electrodes through silicon composite materials that suppress silicon expansion. Through this, we can increase the battery capacity and shorten the charging time. We also strive to apply this silicon composite to solid-state batteries based on more than 10 years of experience and effort in the field of solid-state batteries. In addition, lithium powder is developed to produce lithium electrodes by wet coating and lithium electrodes with a 20um thickness of a 3D structure capable of suppressing lithium dendrites. This lithium powder and electrode will also be applied to solid-state batteries. This innovation in the material and structure will enable the achievement of 1000 km of electric vehicle mileage. * My previous work history My work has particularly focused on cell design and material development for battery electric vehicles (BEVs). I earned my B.S. in 2004, M.S. in chemical engineering from Yonsei University in 2006, and Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering. I have approximately 20 years of industrial experience, including time at Samsung, Hyundai Motors, and one company that can't be disclosed. I also have professional knowledge of quality control as well as problem-solving analysis and forecasting at the research and development stage of production. I am a CQE certified by the American Society for Quality and a TRIZ specialist certified by the International TRIZ association. • Electro chemistry background - Research for Direct Methanol (Formic acid) or Hydrogen Fuel Cell at Yonsei University and KIST - Research for Advanced Material & Process Development for Battery&Solar Cell at SAMSUNG, HYUNDAI, and one company that can't disclosed. - Research for All Solid-State Battery and Metal-Air Battery at HYUNDAI • Expertise in New Material Search, Improvement and Application • Expertise in Slurry (Ink, Paste) Design with New Material, Cell and Process Design • I am a self-starter and eager to learn new things
