  I am a current first year medical student at Wright State University Boonshoft in Dayton, Ohio. I recently graduated from Baylor University in the honors college with a biology major. I graduated from Baylor University in 2021 with a major in biology. I published my honors thesis through the Baylor University Honors College. Additionally, I earned the Certificate in Spanish for Health Professions. I had the exciting opportunity to design and complete a Spanish Healthcare Project last year pertaining to Folk Medicine in the Mexican-American Border Region. I have studied Spanish culture and language for over 7 years throughout high school and college. I have also had the unique privelage of shadowing professionals in several healthcare settings in Ohio, Texas, and Guatemala. I have always loved working with kids, whether it was as a lead STEM teacher with KAST, a volunteer caretaker with King's Club, or a camp counselor with the YMCA. In my free time, my hobbies are table tennis, reading, spikeball, and escape rooms (over 45 rooms completed to date). I have a passion for running.
