David Skidmore’s Expertise I started out running punch presses and worked my way up to set-up person and then shift supervisor. I moved to Citco in 1990 and started my machining journey. I started on a manual Bridgeport and a small Kent Surface Gringer. I was our fixture maker for producing diamond tipped tooling. I worked my way into the Wire EDM room and started learning how to program and run them. That experience led me to get into more CAD/CAM and opened the door for me to learn how to program Wire EDMs, CNC Machining Centers, CNC Lathes, MTM machines and Waterjets. At Jergens I have been able to learn even more and apply myself to becoming a better machinist and programmer. I like this work and the people and experiences I have had and gained from getting into this line of work. I can't stress my appreciation for all those who trained me and worked with me thru all these years. Leo, Andre, Randy, Paul, Pat, Darrel, Murray, Matt, Luis and so many more. I try to remember to pass that training and understanding on.
