  Think of me as a veteran Technology Startup Guy. I've worked at seven of them, founded one, and seen all aspects of their growth and evolution. I've done extensive work in browser applications as well as all the support functions for back-end servers, such as Linux system administration and database management. I can also put together an iOS app, from white-board concept to final submission and everything in between. I haven't personally come up with the Next Big Idea, but when it arrives, I'm ready anytime now. My actual skills: - Unity / C#. My years of developing mobile applications in Unity have given me a lot of C# experience - primarily for the back end of our apps, which deal with data, networking, builds, asset management, and bridging to native code. But I've also done plenty of game logic, including AI, and even some UI work. - Java/J2EE (~15 years). I've done a huge variety of things with it, from command-line utilities, to large cloud applications, to Android development. I know it really well. - iOS: I'm proficient in Objective-C and C++. I primarily deal with networking, storage, and many OS services, but can do UIs too. - Javascript (also ~15 years). I've always loved the browser, and I've coded up a number of end-user-facing dynamic UIs. - Databases: I've worked with several over my career, and on both sides of the SQL/NoSQL fence: MySQL, SQL Server, and Postgres on the one hand, and CouchDB and BigTable on the other. - Linux: I haven't memorized every command-line flag, but I know my way around a system and can set up and manage servers without trouble. - a large variety of support tools and third-party add-ons.
