Beyond school, in the 2 years I worked at Hutchinson Sealing Systems, I learned to program Siemens TIA Portal, Motoman Robots, Adept Robots, Allen-Bradley RSLogix 5000, and FANUC Robots. After a year, I became the primary electrical engineer for my plant’s automation team. I programmed the controls for four work cells, along with building their safety circuits, and programming eight FANUC robots from scratch. I have a passion as an engineer to make people's lives easier. Beyond Hutchinson, I worked as a Manufacturing Controls Engineer at the FDA regulated Abbott Diagnostics in their molecular products division.
