I'm the owner of my own business, an eco-centric business developer that has helped businesses write grants up to 10,000, develop eco-centric business standard operating procedures, and consults for community and ecological restoration projects. One of Nimbus Cloudus's developments is The South Flores Community, a community project developer, and a green space advocate through ag-tech and permaculture project development. One of our proudest achievements is organizing community members through block walking and petitioning to ask the city to install a street light. The city denied our request, however, through determination and evidenced-based research we fundraised and installed an off-grid solar panel street light. This project was based on the research that putting a street light in the community can reduce crime and produce a safe neighborhood for all local community members. Other projects have been stewarding local community gardens, serving on the board of committees for public food forest projects, and developing a pipeline of community engagement officers that develop reflections over locally-based issues. I aim to organize and empower students, communities, and families to champion ecological restoration projects 🌳 and community-benefiting projects 🏘. I’m a huge advocate for student success.
