Dekera Joseph’s Expertise I believe in being reliable and responsive. My primary objective is to assist clients wherever and whenever possible without expecting anything in return. Providing quality customer service is key in the financial services industry and this is what differentiates one bank from another. This is one of the many life lessons that I learned early on in my career. First, starting out as a customer service representative, and then as a Senior Customer Service Representative. In a depressed economy clients need to be able to rely on financial institutions for assistance. While banks may clamp down on lending during a recession and in the recovery stages, this should not affect customer service. I am one who recognizes that there is always more than one option. In my position as credit officer, I have come to recognize that positive communication and negotiation skills can go a long way to ensuring a mutually beneficial relationship. I believe in putting my best foot forward, with the understanding that my clients are depending on me to not only be responsive but provide positive results. While I am optimistic and would like to be in a position to assist every client with their request no matter how large or small, sometimes this may not be possible. Nevertheless, I believe that timely communication is key and can save a client priceless time and money. Every client is important. Work and life experiences have taught me the importance of performing my assigned duties effectively. I have climbed the corporate ladder and learnt that every situation is not the same. It is important to always have a positive outlook on life and do the best with what you’ve got.
