I am a dad of two and my son, Joe, has Dravet Syndrome. My interests include cider making, cooking and neglecting an allotment. I previously worked in Local Government as a Welfare Benefits and Homelessness Officer. And later in the Councils' Housing Strategy and Policy unit. In 1997, I secured lottery funding for a live music event and European exchange programme for young musicians. I have a popular blog called http://livingwithdisability.info that reviews useful new healthcare products. I also help other small companies promote their products and inventions by acting as a wholesaler of a range of attractive and useful healthcare products. As well as our http://trabasack.com e-commerce store, in 2019 I joined the team at DisabilityHorizons.com and launched a shop on their extremely popular e-magazine and community website. The aim of the shop is to help disabled people find quality products from trusted suppliers, encourage disabled entrepreneurs and provide a platform to sell products for smaller inventors and designers, to employ disabled people and ensure funding to continue the longevity of Disability Horizons magazine. The shop.disabilityhorizions.com now has 30 + suppliers and has completed over 40,000 orders to customers. In 2022 we launch our own branded Disability Horizons Marketplace area at Naidex.
